The DWS DigitalWax 028 J Plus is a professional 3D printer from DWS Additive Manufacturing, an Italian manufacturer. The patented laser stereolithography (SLA) technology of DWS Additive Manufacturing has been used on their industrial series for years.
This 3D printer is also available in a more accurate version called DWS DigitalWax 028 J Plus HR, with a spot laser of 17 µm instead of 22 µm for the DWS DigitalWax 028J Plus.
DigitalWax J systems are stereolithography machines dedicated to jewelry, based on Stereolithography (SLA) technology. The BluEdge laser head of the DigitalWax J polymerizes a photocurable burn owner resin. Depending on the machine model, those 3D printers can build from 80 to 1500 parts in 24 hours (depending on their size and complexity).
The DigitalWax 028J Plus is a rapid prototyping system. With a good price-performance ratio and a low running cost, the DigitalWax 028J Plus enables the fabrication of up to 80 patterns within 24h. The DWS DigitalWax 028 J Plus is a high-speed, high-precision 3D printing system for rapid manufacturing, specifically developed to allow small to medium-sized jewellery workshops to produce very high quality models, with no limits on shape or geometric complexity. The 028J Plus 3D printer can produce richly detailed models with smooth and ornate surfaces, undercuts and cavities, ensuring the greatest possible freedom when designing pieces. It is also perfect for creating fashion accessories and models for fashion jewelry. With low running costs and zero planned maintenance costs, this printer has been designed for long term uninterrupted operation. It is compatible with some Liqcreate 3D-printing resins. The DWS DigitalWax 028 J Plus resin 3D-printer offers a printing area of 90x90x90 mm and can produce up to 150 models per day, detailed with smooth surfaces, undercuts, cavities and watermarks, ensuring maximum freedom in model design. A high-resolution version 028J Plus HR is also available for filigree, extra-thin models, and extremely fine detail.
