Prusa SL1 compatible Liqcreate resin & 3D-printing parameters

The Original Prusa SL1 uses MSLA, which means that there is an LED array as it’s light source (405 nm) in combination with an LCD photomask to shape the light image. The SL1 is open source and therefore has full support for 3rd party resin. The SL1 is able to reach a minimum layer height of 0.01 mm, but the recommended layer height by Prusa is 0.025-0.100 mm. Due to the low power of the LED and RGB-LCD technology, the Premium resin range works best on this printer. Most other resins could also work on this printer, however, not all pre-settings are available. Prusa SL1 resin 3D-printer specifications.

The original Prusa SL1 is an open-source SLA 3D printer based on the MSLA printing process. Unlike the original Prusa i3 machines, this printer uses a high-resolution LCD panel and a UV LED to cure thin layers of resin (resin) to achieve a high level of detail.

The whole unit is controlled by a color LCD touchscreen and the G-codes can be uploaded via a USB flash drive. However, there is also LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity, where in addition to uploading G-codes, there is also the option of controlling the printer via a web browser. The Prusa SL1 is equipped with a 2K RGB LCD screen, giving it a build area of 5.9 by 4.7 by 2.6 inches.

Contact us if you have any questions or when you need help with settings for the Prusa SL1 or other resin based 3D-printers.
