3D-printer manufacturer Anycubic has announced the launch of three new desktop 3D printers at TCT Asia 2021. Anycubic’s expansion in the consumer-grade sector can be attributed to the company’s widely-popular Photon and Photon Mono series of resin 3D-printers. The Anycubic Photon Mono X Pro is the newest addition to its growing product offering. It integrates cloud connectivity for the first time in a Photon series 3D-printer. Providing users with smart functionality such as cloud-based slicing, print management, file storage, online upgrades, and remote build monitoring.
Little is known about the specifications as the product has not officially launched. Looking at its earlier version, the Anycubic Photon Mono X. It seems like this is an upgraded printer with a slightly bigger build size and cloud connectivity. Anycubic Photon Mono X Pro comes with 9.25 ” 6K Monochrome screen, bigger printing size, and supports Anycubic Cloud computing.
Next to its new Photon Mono X Pro, Anycubic also debuts its first DLP 3D-printer at the TCT Asia 2021, named the Photon Ultra. Developed in collaboration with DLP specialist Texas Instruments, the Photon Ultra is characterized by its use of DLP technology. With an increased UV light utilization rate, the system is reportedly far more efficient than comparable LCD printers.
Anycibic’s Ouyang explains, “With DLP technology, the new 3D printer increases efficiency threefold when compared with rivals that deploy SLA and LCD printing technology. By combining DLP technology with Anycubic’s uniformly distributed and stable UV light source, the Photon Ultra enables high precision parts and fast printing speeds.”
Resin compatibility with the Anycubic Photon Mono X Pro 3D-printer
As the machine is not launched, it is not known how resins will react on the printer. With Liqcreate’s experience in 405nm MSLA 3D-printers and the previous Mono X printer. Tt is likely that almost the whole Liqcreate range will be available and compatible on the new Anycubic Photon Mono X Pro resin 3D-printer. More information is available once the product launched.
