Elegoo released a new version of its large printer called the Elegoo Jupiter SE. While researching this printer, I am confused why this is released as it does not show many improvements over the original Jupiter. The Elegoo Jupiter SE is equipped with a 12.8-inch 6K monochrome LCD, boasting a resolution of 5448×3064 and 51-micron XY resolution, similar to the previous version. let’s compare to see if i missed something.

Elegoo Jupiter SE vs Jupiter & competitor.
From a technical perspective it is difficult to see the difference between the Elegoo Jupiter and Elegoo Jupiter SE. The metal housing is mostly replaced by a plastic one, which is likely cost-driven.
