Formlabs was founded in 2011 by MIT Media Lab graduates Maxim Lobovsky, David Cranor, and Natan Linder, set out to democratize high‑quality industrial resin 3D printing. With roots in their successful Kickstarter campaign for the original Form 1 resin 3D-printer, the company now offers a broad ecosystem spanning desktop to large‑format resin stereolithography (SLA) and selective laser sintering (SLS) printers, resins, software, and post‑processing systems. At the heart of Formlabs’ innovation is its proprietary Low Force Display™ (LFD) resin print engine, first introduced with the Form 4. Shortly after the launch of the Formlabs Form4, the Formlabs Form 4L and dental resin 3D-printers were announced. This technology used in the Formlabs Form 4L swaps traditional laser-based curing for a powerful LED backlight paired with precision LCD masking, drastically improving resin printing speed and reliability while maintaining resolution. In this article the settings for Liqcreate resins are published to work with the Formlabs Form 4L printer with open license. Technically all Liqcreate resins can work on the Formlabs Form4 resin series printers. If settings are not available of when you have any other questions, pleae contact us.
