The Anycubic Photon Mono 2 [4K] was once one of the most refined compact monochrome‑LCD printers in the Anycubic lineup, and selecting the right anycubic photon mono 2 resin is essential to achieving the ultra‑sharp detail and fast curing performance this 4K system is designed for. Equipped with a 4K resolution monochrome LCD, a 132 × 80 × 165 mm build volume, and a high‑precision 34 µm pixel size, the Photon Mono 2 delivers noticeably higher accuracy and smoother surface quality than earlier Photon Mono models. Its powerful 405 nm UV light engine enables efficient curing across a wide range of third‑party materials, including all validated Liqcreate resins optimized specifically for this machine.
Because the Photon Mono 2 uses a high‑intensity 4K monochrome LCD, it behaves differently from lower‑resolution or RGB‑LCD printers when selecting and tuning anycubic photon mono 2 4K resin. The increased pixel density and stronger UV transmission allow for shorter exposure times, cleaner edges, and improved stability — especially when printing engineering parts, miniatures, dental models, or high‑detail prototypes. Liqcreate provides dedicated exposure settings tailored to the Photon Mono 2’s optical performance, ensuring predictable curing behavior and consistent results across multiple resin families.
Choosing the right anycubic photon mono 2 resin directly influences print speed, detail sharpness, mechanical strength, and workflow efficiency. With its 4K LCD, compact footprint, and precise 34 µm pixel resolution, the Photon Mono 2 is an excellent match for Liqcreate’s engineering, modeling, and specialty materials. If you need help selecting the ideal resin or fine‑tuning your exposure parameters for this specific 4K machine, our technical team can provide Photon‑Mono‑2‑optimized guidance. In this article you can find compatible 3D-printing resin and parameters for the Anycubic Photon Mono 2 – 4K LCD resin printer. For now only a few resins have been tested. It is expected that all Liqcreate resins can work as they work on the Anycubic Photon M3 series. if you want to try a non-validated Liqcreate resin, a good starting point are the Photon M3 resin settings, or send an e-mail to info@liqcreate.com for assistance.

About the Anycubic Photon Mono 2 resin 3D-printer.
What is new with the Photon Mono 2 compared to the previous versions? Well, the LCD display still uses monochrome technology, but in this case they use a 4K+ LCD screen. this is a minor upgrade from the Photon Mono 4K in a way that it has slightly more pixels. in technical details, the Photon Mono 4K has an LCD with 3840 * 2400 pixels while the new Anycubic Photon Mono 2 has an LCD screen with 4096 * 2560 pixels. Having a similar pixel size of 35 microns, it will give the Photon Mono 2 a slightly larger build plate of 143*89 cm compared to 132 * 80 cm of its predecessor.
