Anycubic recently launched its new Photon M3 series. The entry-level M3 printer will have a 4K+ resolution. Which in pixel size is marginally better compared to their Photon Mono 4K. The Photon M3 has an LCD screen with 4096 x 2560 pixels while the Photon Mono 4K has a 4K LCD screen with 3,840 x 2,400 pixels. This is a difference technology compared to the earlier launched Photon Ultra, which uses a DLP projector. The build volume of the Anycubic Photon M3 is 163 * 102 * 180 mm (L * W * H), with a pixel size of 23 micron. The build plate is laser-engraved, which is suposed to improve adhesion of the base layer to the build plate. Additionally an upgraded matrix light engine is used. The Anycubic Photon M3 is available at the Liqcreate R&D lab were the settings were developed.
