Phrozen Sonic Mini‑series resin settings

The Phrozen Sonic Mini‑series includes multiple compact MSLA resin 3D‑printers with varying LCD resolutions, optical engines and mechanical configurations. Although each model uses a different pixel density and irradiance distribution, their curing behavior remains broadly comparable within standard Liqcreate workflows. This page provides an overview of all validated resin settings for the Sonic Mini, Sonic Mini 4K, Sonic Mini 8K and Sonic Mini 8K S.

Phrozen Sonic Mini

The Phrozen Sonic Mini is an entry‑level MSLA 3D‑printer equipped with a monochrome LCD and a compact build volume suitable for general‑purpose prototyping. Its optical engine provides consistent curing behavior for standard Liqcreate materials. → Phrozen Sonic Mini resin settings

Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K

The Sonic Mini 4K features a higher‑resolution 4K monochrome LCD, offering improved surface detail and dimensional accuracy compared to the original Mini. Its irradiance distribution and mechanical stability support reliable curing performance across engineering and general‑purpose resins. → Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K resin settings

Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K

The Sonic Mini 8K introduces a high‑density 8K LCD with significantly reduced pixel size, enabling fine detail reproduction for miniature production and precision components. Its optical engine and mechanical platform provide stable exposure behavior across Liqcreate workflows. → Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K resin settings

Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S

The Sonic Mini 8K S is an updated variant of the Mini 8K, featuring a revised optical configuration and improved irradiance uniformity. These updates support consistent curing depth and enhanced detail reproduction for engineering, dental and general‑purpose materials. → Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S resin settings

Cross‑compatibility within the Mini‑series

Although each Mini‑model uses a different LCD resolution and optical configuration, the systems share similar curing characteristics. As a result, exposure settings from one model can serve as a preliminary reference when validated parameters for another Mini‑printer are not yet available.

Sonic Mini — baseline for general‑purpose workflows

Sonic Mini 4K — improved accuracy and stable curing for engineering resins

Sonic Mini 8K — high‑detail system with fine XY resolution

Sonic Mini 8K S — updated optical engine with enhanced irradiance uniformity

Validated settings should always be used when available.

Liqcreate resin parameter database

All validated Liqcreate resin exposure profiles for the Phrozen Sonic Mini‑series are available in the central resin parameter database. This includes cross‑platform comparisons, material‑specific curing behavior and updated settings for engineering, dental and general‑purpose workflows. → Liqcreate resin parameter database
