Sinergia Print by Nobil Metal: Precision dental 3D-printer resin compatibility

Nobil Metal has been producing a wide range of dental alloys and solders for more than eighty years. The company is based in Villafranca d’Asti (Italy) and has established itself as a leading manufacturer within the dental sector. Since 2007, Nobil Metal has invested in integrated digital manufacturing technologies and CAD/CAM services. These developments led to the creation of the Sinergia ecosystem, which includes the Sinergia Print dental resin 3D printer. Sinergia Print is fully designed and developed by Nobil Metal. The system is intended for applications where dimensional accuracy and process reliability are essential, such as dental model production.

Three printing modes in one system

Sinergia Print offers three operating modes:
• – Double Print
Two build plates and two resin tanks allow simultaneous printing of two different materials, reducing production time.
• – Large Print
A larger build plate increases productivity for high‑volume workflows.
• – Small Print
A compact configuration using one plate and one tank from the Double Print setup, suitable for small and fast production runs.

Sinergia Print by Nobil Metal Key features

3‑in‑1 configuration
The system provides one of the most versatile setups currently available. The dual‑plate configuration is managed through the native software and enables parallel production using two materials with independent parameter sets.
Open material system
Sinergia Print is an open platform and is compatible with all 3D‑printing resins. No restrictions or QR‑code validation systems are used.
Precision mechanics
The printer is equipped with a reinforced Z‑axis designed for accuracy and stability. The axis uses a ball‑screw mechanism and flexible coupling, supported by a metal frame that ensures rigidity during operation.
100% made in Italy
The printer is designed and manufactured by Nobil Metal. Technical support and spare parts are available both remotely and on‑site.
Advanced software
The system includes Sinergia Print Slicer by CIM System and the Sinergia Print firmware developed by Nobil Metal. Both are tailored specifically to this platform. Next to their own slicer, Chitubox V1.9.5 can be used.

* Pro Tip: Bio-Med Clear needs to be printed at lower UV power compared to other resins to prevent light bleeding or through-cure of the parts. Set the UV-power to 10%. This is a setting in the Chitubox slicer in the advanced tab!

* Pro Tip: For flexible resins like Gingiva Mask, the lift distance needs to be set at 10mm instead the default 6mm.

Technical specifications

XY resolution: ± 50 µm
Z resolution: ± 10 µm
Layer thickness: Minimum 10 µm, adjustable in 10 µm increments
Print speed:
– 50 µm = 20 mm/h (resin dependant)
– 100 µm = 40.5 mm/h (resin dependant)

Large Print mode

  • Build volume: 165 × 280 × 150 mm
  • Resin tank capacity: 500–1500 g
  • Production time at 100 µm:
  • Approximately 25 dental arches (vertical orientation) in 2 hours
  • Approximately 15 dental arches (horizontal orientation) in 45–50 minutes

Double Print / Small Print mode

  • Build volume per plate: 150 × 105 × 140 mm
  • Resin tank capacity: 100–500 g
  • Production time at 100 µm: Complete denture in 25 minutes (pink base and denture teeth printed simultaneously)

Washing and post‑curing protocol

Two post‑processing units are supplied with the system: Sinergia Wash and Sinergia Cure.
Sinergia Wash is used for resin cleaning, while Sinergia Cure is an inert‑gas (nitrogen) curing unit designed to complete polymerization under controlled conditions.
