The Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K is a compact high‑precision MSLA resin 3D‑printer designed for users who require extremely fine surface detail within a small build volume. Equipped with a 7.1‑inch 8K monochrome LCD (22 µm XY resolution) and a linear‑projection LED module, the Mini 8K delivers sharp feature reproduction and consistent irradiance across its footprint. This makes the platform suitable for miniature production, dental modeling, jewelry prototyping and other applications where micro‑detail and dimensional accuracy are critical.
Although the Sonic Mini 8K shares its form factor with the Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K and the newer Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S, each machine uses a different optical engine and LCD configuration. These differences affect cure depth, exposure efficiency and resin behavior, meaning that resin settings are not interchangeable between models. Users working across multiple Phrozen systems can compare parameters with our Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K resin settings and Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S resin settings to understand cross‑platform variations.
All validated Liqcreate resin profiles for the Mini 8K and other supported printers are available in our complete resin settings database. These profiles are based on in‑house testing or verified partner data. If you need assistance with exposure tuning, resin selection or workflow optimization, our engineering team is available through our contact page. You can also download the Chitubox parameter file for Anycubic Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K with Liqcreate resins. This file allows you to import all validated Liqcreate profiles into the Chitubox slicer within seconds, enabling you to start printing immediately with the correct exposure settings.
Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K resin MSLA 3D‑printing settings & parameters
The resin settings listed below are validated for the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K and are based on in‑house testing or verified partner data. Due to its 22 µm XY resolution and linear‑projection LED module, the Mini 8K behaves differently from the Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K and the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S, especially in terms of cure depth, bottom‑layer adhesion and exposure efficiency. These optical differences make dedicated resin profiles essential for achieving consistent dimensional accuracy, surface detail and mechanical stability on the Mini 8K. Use the parameters below as validated profiles, or as a baseline when tuning additional Liqcreate materials.

About the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K
The Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K is built around a 7.1‑inch 8K monochrome LCD with an XY resolution of 22 µm, enabling extremely fine surface detail within a compact build volume. Its linear‑projection LED module provides a focused and consistent irradiance field, which influences cure depth, bottom‑layer adhesion and overall exposure efficiency. These optical characteristics make the Mini 8K behave differently from the Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K and the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S, especially when working with engineering‑grade or highly pigmented resins. When tuned correctly, the Mini 8K delivers high‑precision results for miniatures, dental models, jewelry and other applications where micro‑detail and dimensional accuracy are essential.

Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K resin settings & exposure behavior
Why are Mini 8K resin settings different from the Mini 4K or Mini 8K S?
The Mini 8K uses a different LCD panel and linear‑projection LED engine, which changes irradiance and cure depth. Settings are therefore not interchangeable.
Why do some resins need higher exposure on the Mini 8K?
The focused linear‑projection LED produces a deeper cure profile, so pigmented or filled resins may require slightly longer exposure.
How do I recognize under‑exposure on the Mini 8K?
Soft surfaces, weak supports or early‑layer separation indicate that exposure should be increased slightly.
How do I recognize over‑exposure on the Mini 8K?
Loss of fine detail, swollen features or difficult support removal suggest exposure is too high.
Can I use Mini 4K settings as a starting point?
Yes, but only as a baseline. Final exposure and lift parameters must be tuned specifically for the Mini 8K.
Where can I find validated Liqcreate profiles for the Mini 8K?
All profiles are available in the Liqcreate resin settings database.
